Jenny is now More Manly than I Am

About the time the snow flies in the fall, I’m ready to hang up the bike for the winter and pull down the skis.  All the therapy in world cannot purge from my mind the misery of slogging through the snow and cold on a bike, way back when I was too young and poor to have a choice.  These days, The prerequisite for getting in the saddle is semi-decent weather; no snow or driving rain and certainly above 32 degrees.  The only cold weather cycling gear I own are a pair of long tights and arm warmers – not really the wardrobe of a truly committed cyclist.

Jenny, on the other hand, has real weather gear – and she’s not afraid to use it.  It’s going to really suck when she gets better than me on a bike.
